Polk County sheriff's deputies are investigating the suspicious death of a 37-year-old man at a Davenport motel.

Deputies found Damien Dominique Rahim, of 8040 Firenze Blvd., Orlando, dead in a car parked at the Days Inn, 2425 Frontage Road, off U.S. 27, after receiving a call at 9:20 p.m. Saturday, the sheriff's office said.

Details remained sketchy Sunday morning.

"We are very early in this investigation," said sheriff's spokeswoman Carrie Eleazer on Saturday night, "and it is a very active scene."

An autopsy on Rahim will be performed on Monday, the sheriff's office said.

A surveillance video was released that shows a vehicle that detectives believe was involved in the crime.

The sheriff's office asks anyone with information about this incident or the vehicle in the video to contact the Polk Homicide Unit at (863) 298.6200. Or, they can remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward by contacting the Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477).
