Republican vice president nominee Paul Ryan will hold a campaign event this afternoon at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport.
Ryan is expected to arrive at the airport about 3:40 p.m. and speak at Flightlevel Aviation.
From there, Ryan will reportedly travel to Lake Wales for a private fundraiser dinner with more than 300 supporters who have donated up to $10,000 a plate.
Ryan will also have campaign stops Saturday at a Miami restaurant and Orlando's University of Central Florida.
His visit comes a day after GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney visited Sarasota. It was Romney's second straight day in Florida, which holds 29 electoral votes in the November election.
On Wednesday, Romney was in Miami taking questions from a Spanish-speaking audience at an Univision-sponsored forum at the University of Miami.
The Florida blitz by the candidates included a visit by President Barack Obama to a private fundraiser at a South Tampa home.
