Obama in Tampa for campaign rally Thursday
Published:   |   Updated: March 18, 2013 at 06:19 PM

President Barack Obama is coming to Tampa on Thursday for a grassroots rally, his campaign said on Saturday.

The stop is part of a two-day campaign blitz in which the president will crisscross the country. The six-state trip will include a stop on Thursday in Chicago where Obama will cast his ballot early, becoming the first president to do so.

Obama's campaign has not yet announced whether tickets for the campaign stop in Tampa will be made available to the public.

On Wednesday, the president begins in Davenport, Iowa, travels to Denver in the afternoon and finishes in Las Vegas. He'll travel overnight to Tampa and then head to Richmond, Va. for a tarmac event before making a stop in Chicago and ending his day in Cleveland.
