A Plant City resident was identified as one of two men killed in a rollover crash in Central Iowa.
The Iowa State Patrol said 45-year-old Frederick Dean Cowder was a passenger in the pickup truck, which crashed on icy U.S. 30, just west of Le Grand, Iowa.
The crash occurred about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. Investigators said 41-year-old William Kim Baugh, of Corrales, N.M., was driving when he lost control of his 2001 Ford pickup on the ice. The car rolled into a ditch on the south side of the highway, and Baugh and Cowder were killed.
An investigator’s report said neither man was wearing a seat belt.
