A tanker truck loaded with orange juice overturned on westbound Interstate 4 approaching Interstate 275 in downtown Tampa early Tuesday, troopers said.

The truck was heading west on I-4 approaching the southbound ramp to I-275 about 5 a.m., troopers said.

Roads were wet due to rain, and driver Billy Ray Parker, 55, of Winter Springs, was traveling at a speed too fast for the conditions, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

The tractor-trailer, operated by Indian River Transport Co., of Winter Haven, flipped onto its right side on the highway’s shoulder, troopers said.

None of the load was spilled.

The driver reported minor injuries.
