Regarding "Shock jock exonerated" (Jan. 31): It amazes me with all the turmoil in the world that your lead, front-page story was about two supposedly grown men acting as this: one lost, the other going to have a "hanging."
It used to be radio was off-limits to curse words and actions as this. To use the "free speech" edict, these folk and their supporters need to get a life. I wonder what happened to the old saying about doing unto others as you wish to be done to you.
Vulgarity, bad language and putting down others have become the new norm.
Folks letting themselves be titillated by the actions of two "grown men" shows me and the world where this nation is headed.
What an example to send out to young adults and young children.
All I can say is thanks to the jury for deciding to let civility, decency and character take the back seat.
