The search for two children and their father in Hernando County ended Sunday morning when all three were found safe and sound, authorities said.

Hernando County sheriff's deputies said that on Thursday morning 2-year-old Olivia Brooks and 9-month-old Raven Brooks were picked up from their home in Weeki Wachee by their biological father, Aaron David Brooks, and all three were expected to return home later in the day.

They did not and were reported missing.

Deputies were concerned because one of the children suffers from a health problem that requires regular medication, which was not taken with the child when she was picked up.

At 10:40 a.m. Sunday, deputies found the three missing people in the Brooksville area, all in good health, deputies aid. An investigation is underway to the reason for the disappearance. No charges were filed.
