Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush are scheduled to address the Republican National Convention on Aug. 29.
Bondi, speaking in her hometown, will follow remarks by Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Sen. John McCain of Arizona, the GOP presidential candidate in 2008.
She is the state's first woman attorney general and former assistant state attorney in Hillsborough County, and led several states in contesting the legality of President Barack Obama's health care law. The Supreme Court upheld the law this summer.
A former registered Democrat, she has been a major Florida voice for expected GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said the theme for the third night of the convention is "We Can Change It."
Other speakers that night include Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio, Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota, former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and the night will close with remarks from Rep. Paul Ryan, the vice presidential nominee.
The ending benediction will be given by Archbishop Demetrios of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
