Two Sarasota teens were charged with assaulting three homeless men by chasing them down in a vehicle and firing plastic pellets at them with an Airsoft gun, deputies said.

Adam Hall and Steven Laporte, both 17, are charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery, deputies said.

The three victims received minor injuries from the pellet gun, deputies said.

With Hall at the wheel, the pair drove into a homeless camp and chased the men around a parking lot as Laporte shot them with the pellet gun, deputies said.

Deputies found the teens nearby and arrested them.
