Woman sought in theft of wallet, keys from LA Fitness

A woman is being sought by the Hillsborough County sheriff in the theft of a wallet from a locker at an LA Fitness in Tampa.

Between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday a woman entered the LA Fitness at 11252 W. Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa, according to the sheriff’s office. She opened a locker and took the wallet and a set of keys.

The woman was seen on video surveillance soon after trying to use the stolen credit cards at the CVS pharmacy at 8603 W. Hillsborough Ave., the sheriff’s office said. The card was declined and she left in a red sedan driven by an unidentified person.

The female suspect is described as 30 to 50 years of age and weighing 130 to 150 pounds with blond hair, according to the sheriff’s office. She was last seen wearing black spandex pants and a black jacket.
