The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the Valrico woman who died in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon on State Road 60 in east Hillsborough County.

Janina Miller, 69, died at the scene of the crash, the patrol said Tuesday night. The patrol waited to release her name until next of kin was notified.

According to a investigator’s report, at 2:26 p.m. Miller was driving a 1999 Toyota Corolla west on State Road 60 in the inside eastbound lane approaching Jerry Smith Road.

Meanwhile, a 2007 Chevrolet Impala driven by Glenda Dexter, 51, of Plant City was eastbound on S.R. 60 in the inside lane approaching Turkey Creek Road.

The vehicles collided head-on, the highway patrol said.

Dexter was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital with minor injuries, the patrol said.
