WEEKI WACHEE – No injuries were reported following a three-vehicle crash involving two Tampa Bay area school buses.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that 67-year-old Steven Peter Seybold was stopped at a red light on U.S. 19 in a pickup truck Friday afternoon. When the light turned green, authorities say he began driving forward and swerved into one Hernando County school bus. When that bus began to slow down, Seybold continued on and hit another school bus heading the same direction.
None of the drivers or the 103 teenage passengers on the buses were injured.
Seybold was cited for careless driving.
