Deputies knocked on the front door and when the men opened the door, the marijuana plants were in plain view, the sheriff’s office said.

After a search warrant was obtained, detectives found 30 marijuana plants, 10.9 pounds of marijuana, a loaded Glock 9mm semi-automatic handgun, an assault rifle and a .22 caliber pistol.

Joel N. Martinez, 26, 1605 Sydney Dover Road, faces charges of cultivation of marijuana, three counts of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, felon in possession of a firearm, three counts possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Felipe Martinez-Romero, 20, 3708 Jimmy Tree Lane, Plant City, faces charges of possession of marijuana.
