A 30-year-old Thonotosassa man died early this morning after a crash on Fowler Avenue in Tampa, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Amari Williams was driving a 1985 Chevrolet Camaro west, just east of Interstate 75, when she collided with a 1997 GMC pickup truck at around 3:15 a.m., troopers said. The collision caused the Camaro to overturn and Williams was ejected from the vehicle onto the road, troopers said.

Witnesses said Williams was then struck by two other vehicles, both of which continued driving, troopers said. Williams died at the scene.

Troopers are now searching for the two vehicles which struck Williams after the crash. Witnesses described one of the vehicles as a white SUV, troopers said.

The pickup truck, which also continued driving after the crash, was later found abandoned off of Fletcher Avenue, troopers said.
