Tampa police have caught a suspect in the burglary of a house in Palmetto Beach, but are still trying to confirm if there is a second suspect.
About 10 a.m., a 911 call led police to 2407 Corrine St. after a neighbor reported two men breaking into a home, police said. Officers looked through a window and saw a man inside, then sent canine Repo into the home, who caught the suspect. The suspect is being questioned.
The Tactical Response Team cleared the house, but did not find a second suspect. Neighbors were told to stay inside their homes, but no one was evacuated, police said.
