Tampa police seek suspects in armed robbery in Ybor

Tampa police are seeking the public’s help in locating three suspects in the robbery of two other men over the weekend in Ybor City.

About 1:01 a.m. Sunday, two men were looking for their car in the 1700 block of N. 19th Street in Tampa, when three men offered their help, police said.

At the corner of N. 24th Street and East 8th Avenue, one member of the trio pulled out a handgun and demanded the victims’ wallets, according to police. The suspects then fled northbound on foot.
