Tampa police are searching for the driver seen on a red-light camera video losing control at an intersection and sideswiping four pedestrians standing on a median.

Police today released video of the incident, which occurred Sunday at 3:46 p.m. as a family of four was attempting to cross East Nebraska Avenue while standing on the median at Fowler Avenue.

The video shows a black or dark SUV driving through the intersection, striking the individuals before continuing southbound on East Nebraska Avenue and then turning eastbound on 109th Avenue.

The driver never stopped to help the victims, police say.

Two of the victims were taken to a local hospital as a precaution with non-life threatening injuries, while all involved sustained bruises and scrapes, police say.

Police continue to search for the vehicle, and a driver described as a white or Hispanic woman.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Tampa Police Department at (813) 231-6130.
