Ocean Spa Massage, the Henderson Boulevard business that is under investigation for human trafficking, has closed permanently, police said Monday.

The owners of the purple building at 3631 Henderson Blvd. decided to evict the tenants after learning about the investigation and determining the business violated its lease, police said.

No charges have been filed yet, but an investigation is ongoing, said police spokesman Janelle McGregor.

A search warrant was served at the massage parlor on March 21.

The investigation began in October, when police received an anonymous tip about possible human trafficking, authorities said. During multiple undercover operations, police officers were offered sex acts for money. A Health Department investigation found evidence that people were living in the spa.

Police questioned three female employees of the spa, but only one of them, an American citizen, had a massage license.
