TAMPA - A 27-year-old Tampa man was charged Friday with second-degree murder in a fatal shooting that occurred in May.

Demetrio Earle is being held without bail.

On May 31, Earle met Reggie Adams and Eddy Lee in the parking lot of a McDonald's at 19080 Bruce B. Downs, according to Tampa police.

Earle got into the vehicle with Adams and Lee. A fight broke out and Earle jumped out of the vehicle as it backed out of the parking lot, police said.

Earle got in his car and followed Lee and Adams. He then shot into the vehicle, police said, hitting Adams in the chest and Lee in the arm, police said. Adams died from his wounds.
