Suspect sought in robberies at Tampa adult stores

Tampa police are seeking a man who robbed two adult novelty stores at gunpoint recently.

The most recent robbery took place at 6:15 a.m. today at the XTC Adult Supercenter, 4829 N. Lois Ave. The suspect briefly looked at merchandise at the front counter, then asked the clerk to make change for a twenty. The suspect then pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded all of the

money inside the register. The suspect ordered the clerk to go to the back of the store, then he fled on foot from the business, police said.

The first robbery occurred at 1:34 a.m, Sept. 28 at the Love Shack, 3910 Osborne Ave. In that incident, the suspect again displayed

a firearm and demanded cash. The clerk gave him money out of the register and he fled on foot.

The suspect is a black man, 6-foot-4 to 6-foot-5 with a large build. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark shorts, white sneakers and a Tampa Bay Rays fitted hat.
