A man wanted for attacking a woman who had walked out of a Palm Harbor pharmacy and stealing her medication earlier this month was arrested on Friday, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

Anthony Henderson, 37, of Clearwater, was charged with one count of strong arm robbery. During an interview with detectives, Henderson admitted to the allegations, the sheriff's office said.

On the afternoon of April 8, Henderson was seen walking and pacing on a sidewalk outside the Trust Pharmacy, 36515 U.S. Highway 19 N., the sheriff's office said.

When a woman walked out of the pharmacy, Henderson grabbed her by the throat, threw her to the ground and threatened her. He then took the medication she had bought at the pharmacy, the sheriff's office said.

After the story was published in the local news media, the sheriff's office received a number of tips.

Henderson was arrested at his Clearwater home, the sheriff's office said.
