Reward offered in auto theft in Winter Haven

Published:

A $3,000 cash reward is being offered for information in a case where three men stole a car early Saturday from a Winter Haven convenience store with a 9-year-old girl inside.

The woman entered the Circle K at 1000 1st St. in Winter Haven about 1 a.m., and left her daughter in the car and the engine running, according to police.

The suspects purchased items just before the victim, but as she left the store, she saw the suspects get into the car as her daughter was getting out, police said. The daughter was not harmed.

The vehicle is a 2012 Silver Chevrolet Impala with the Florida tag X739VB.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
