The original story appears below.

Polk County sheriff’s deputies are searching for two Lakeland girls who were last seen Friday night and talked on Facebook about leaving their houses early today.

The missing girls are:

* Davida Williams, 12, who lives on Old Harden Boulevard in South Lakeland and attends Sleepy Hill Middle School. She was last seen at her residence between 10:30 and 11:00 p.m. Friday.

* Destiny Sutton, 13, who lives on Cherry Tree Drive in South Lakeland and attends Lakeland Highlands Middle School. She was last seen at her home around 10:30 p.m. Friday.

The girls were conversing on Facebook at around 2 a.m. today about leaving their houses. They mentioned a male coming to get them, but did not mention him by name, deputies said.

Anyone with information about the girls’ location is asked to call the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at (863) 298-6200.
