Tampa police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect in an armed robbery Sunday night at a northeast Tampa convenience store.

Police say the suspect approached the counter at the Radiant store, 1930 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., around 11:30 p.m. while wearing a red ski mask.

The suspect, implying he had a gun, demanded money from the clerk. After receiving it, police say, he fled the store.

Police K-9 units tracked the suspect’s scent to the area of West Walnut Street and North Harold Avenue, where police say he likely entered a dark-colored, older-model pickup truck and fled the area.

No injuries were reported, police say.

Anyone with information, who wishes to remain anonymous or to be eligible for a cash reward, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 873-TIPS or report online at the Crime Stoppers website, crimestopperstb.com.
