Pair sought in Palm River convenience store robbery

Hillsborough County deputies are searching for two armed males who robbed a convenience store early Monday in the Palm River area.

At 12:40 a.m., the pair entered the Radiant store at 2801 S. 50th St., deputies said. Both had handguns and approached the clerk to demand money, deputies said. After receiving an unknown amount of money, they fled on foot, deputies said.

On Tuesday investigators released surveillance images that show the pair during the robbery.

On suspect was described by investigators as white, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, gloves and a black bandanna over his mouth. He was armed with a silver semi-automatic handgun.

The other suspect was described by investigators as white, and 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, black gloves and a blue bandanna over his mouth. He was armed with a black handgun.
