Polk County sheriff’s deputies are seeking information on robberies at two dry cleaning businesses that may be connected.

The first robbery took place about 1:50 p.m. March 27 at a dry cleaning business on the corner of U.S. Highway 98 North and Marcum Road in Lakeland. Two days later, a similar robbery occurred at a dry cleaning business in Valrico.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 5-foot-8 and 6 feet tall. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored long-sleeved shirt, a dark-colored beanie-style hat and dark sunglasses.

The vehicle used in the Valrico robbery appeared to be a white, four-door mid-1990s Infiniti J3.
