FHP seeks information in Bradenton hit and run

The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in solving a it and run that occurred early today.

A Chevrolet Blazer was eastbound in the parking lot of 3978 75th St. W. going through a left curve and approaching 3982 75th St. W. when the driver lost control about 7 a.m. today, and the vehicle spun counterclockwise, troopers said.

The Blazer then hit a 2002 Toyota Camry and a 2008 Hyundai Accent, both of which were parked at the time, troopers said.

The Blazer then fled the scene. The vehicle was described as maroon, an early 1990s model, with dark tinted windows and black trim , troopers said.

Anyone who saw the crash or has information on the Blazer is asked to call Florida Highway Patrol crash investigator G. Monge at (941) 751-7647.
