Deputies seek suspects in Tampa tobacco company burglary

Hillsborough County deputies are looking for five men they say broke into an east Tampa tobacco business and stole more than $400,000 in merchanise.

At 12:34 a.m. Sept. 22, the men arrived in two white vans at Sweet Times Tobacco Corp., 5196 Letourneau Circle, deputies said. One van was a Ford Club Wagon from 1997 to 2006; the other was a Ford e250 from 1997 to 2006.

The men were seen on surveillance images forcing their way through a locked gate. Once inside the gate, they entered the store as well as four vehicles parked on the property, deputies said.

The burglars removed large quantities of electronic cigarettes, cigars and other products prior to leaving, deputies said.
