Deputies seek suspects in Carrollwood sunglasses theft

Hillsborough County deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating two suspects seen on surveillance video stealing sunglasses from a Carrollwood store.

Deputies say a man and woman stole three pairs of sunglasses, valued at $738, on March 10 from the Lenscrafters store, at 11921 Dale Mabry Highway North.

Deputies say the woman signed in using the name Rachel Bird, which was found to be false. While she distracted the clerks, the man removed the sunglasses before both fled the store without paying.

The man is described as black, 30-40 years old, bald and about 170-200 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

The woman is described as white, 20-30 years old, with blonde hair and about 120-130 pounds. She was wearing a multi-colored shirt and blue jeans.
