Hillsborough County deputies are searching for the suspects in the theft of a $15,000 quarter horse from an Odessa stable.

Deputies say the unknown suspects removed Six of Diamonds, a 2-year-old horse, between Friday at 9:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7 a.m. from a stable at Innfields Horse and Boarding, 11550 Innfields Drive in Odessa.

The suspects removed the horse, which was behind a closed gate, by using the halter that was hanging on the wall next to the horse’s stable and walking the horse out.

The suspects then fled with the horse by unknown means, deputies say.

The theft was discovered by one of the trainers, deputies say, and the horse’s owner lives in Indiana.

Six of Diamonds is a 2-year-old gray quarter horse with a white stripe going down the front of her face.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at 247-8200. To be eligible for a reward, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at the Crime Stoppers website, or text “CSTB plus your tip” to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637).
