A player for the Tampa Bay Breeze lingerie football team is among 16 contestants on the upcoming season of "Survivor: South Pacific."
Mikayla Wingle, 22, who also is a former Playboy cover model, will see if she can outwit, outplay and outlast when the CBS series premieres on Sept. 14.
Originally from Stanhope, N.J., Wingle says she's going to "show them what a real Jersey girl is all about."
Also playing this season, 19-year-old Brandon Hantz, an oil tanker crewman and nephew of notorious "Survivor" villain Russell Hantz.
According to her bio, Wingle says her mother, "a strong, independent woman," is her inspiration.
Wingle predicts she will succeed in the survival competition because she's a competitor at heart.
"I am very athletic and am very likable. I plan to use these qualities to get me to the end!"
