Bourbon, barbecue and country music fans will soon have their own festival in downtown Tampa to revel in their loves.

Developers of The Heights property along the Hillsborough River plan to announce a sprawling festival that will celebrate all things bourbon, called “Jim Beam’s Bourbon & Brew Fest,” complete with fireworks.

This comes after another similar liquor-themed festival at the riverfront site this summer that celebrated rum and attracted hundreds of people.

This new festival will be Nov. 23 from 3 to 11 p.m. There are general admission tickets for $25, though VIP tickets will cost $75 in advance and include an open bar and access to tasting rooms to sample 40-plus liquors such as Angel’s Envy, Buffalo Trace, Blanton’s and Hudsons, not to mention the mainstay brands of Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark and Knob Creek.

Bands booked for the event include Grant, Mojo Gurus, Southern Train and LoCash Cowboys.

Ticket proceeds will benefit the Bruck Family Foundation. For information, see BourbonandBrewFest.com.
