Copa Airlines said Thursday it would begin four-day-a-week service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Panama City, Panama, on July 11, similar to the service Copa inaugurated between Tampa International Airport and Panama in December.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International joins Tampa, Miami and Orlando as Copa’s fourth Florida airport.

Copa also announced plans to serve Montreal beginning June 3 and Guyana beginning July 11.

The Panama-based airline will add eight Boeing Next Generation 737-800 aircraft in 2014, bringing its fleet to 98 airliners, after adding seven of those aircraft in 2013.
