A Tampa woman was killed early this morning when she lost control of her SUV and flipped in the Palm River area.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Lesley Bonnell Bush, 45, was driving a 1994 Ford Explorer eastbound on Causeway Boulevard, east of 76th Street South, in the inside lane around 4:30 a.m. when she lost control.
Bush exited the roadway and drove onto a raised concrete median before overturning multiple times, the FHP said.
Bush, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, the FHP said.
Investigators are determining whether alcohol was involved in the crash, the FHP said.
