Polk sheriff seeks two suspects in home invasion, battery

Two Hispanic suspects are being sought by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in a home invasion and sexual battery.

The incident occurred about 10:58 p.m. Monday in the area of Puffer Court and Halibut Road in Poinciana. Due to the nature of the crime, no other details can be released, the sheriff’s office said.

The first suspect is a light-skinned Hispanic man, about 6-foot-1, weighing 200 pounds and last seen wearing dark khakis and a gray hooded zip-up sweater. The second suspect, who might be known as Michael, is a light-skinned Hispanic man, about 5-foot-8, weighing 145 pounds and last seen wearing dark jeans and a gray hooded zip-up sweater.

Both of the men wore gloves and ski masks, speak Spanish and English, and are 26 to 38 years of age, according to the sheriff’s office.
