Mobley Homes is excited about two new models in Easton Park and the flexibility of its floor plans in the Woodlands Series.
"Our buyers love our Woodlands Series homes because of the kitchens, breakfast rooms and family rooms," says Maureen Mobley, sales manager. The new Maplewood III and Birchwood models are part of the Woodlands Series that will be built on Mobley's 50 lots at Easton Park in New Tampa.
The Maplewood III provides three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a two-car garage and a bonus room in 2,282 square feet of living space. It also features formal living and dining rooms, a kitchen with plenty of cabinets, a breakfast room and family room.
"Our buyers love so many of our plans because of the separate breakfast rooms and the fact that they are in an area near the kitchen, typically overlook the lanai and have lots of windows for that early morning light," Mobley says. "The family rooms include 8-foot-tall triple sliding doors that overlook a lanai."
Mobley says another popular design feature of the Maplewood III is that the formal living room easily can convert to a private den or study.
"Many buyers do not want the formal living, because they really need no wasted space," Mobley says. "Therefore, we are able to close the living room and put in double doors for complete privacy."
The two-story Birchwood boasts 2,720 square feet of living space, four bedrooms, all upstairs, and a bonus room.
Mobley says changes in the housing market have made families who would have moved up to a larger home look at other options.
"We wanted to design a home that would allow [young growing families] the flexible space they need," Mobley says. "This home may work nicely for someone that is working from home and raising children. There is not a formal living room area but instead a very spacious den/study in the front of the home away from busy traffic areas.
"The bonus space is flexible in that one may add a bathroom to it," Mobley says.
She touts the design, noting that the kitchen, breakfast and family rooms open into one another. The kitchen includes lots of cabinets for storage, a large walk-in pantry and a desk area, Mobley adds.
"The master suite is a true getaway," Mobley says. "The large walk-in closet allows for all kinds of storage and has an elegance with its walk-in shower, separate garden tub and long dual vanities."
Mobley says now is a good time for prospective home buyers to start looking for a residence.
"Builders, in order to move inventory homes, have lowered the price of a home below replacement costs, so one is actually buying equity," Mobley says.
"Interests rates are at [historic] lows and Mobley is offering great incentives right now."
Mobley says customers can feel good about the quality of a Mobley home.
"We continually have second- and third-time home buyers come back to us for a number of reasons," Mobley says. "Current and previous homeowners love our unique designs and our trades are continually scrutinized for excellence in quality and workmanship from slab to landscaping.
"We feel that we offer more than most builders, because we know how important it is for a new homeowner to move in and know they have lots of upgrades that were included in the price of the home."
