Holiday classic movies return to Tampa Theatre in December

The Tampa Theatre is bringing a holiday-themed film to the big screen every Sunday in December.

The 1946, Jimmy Stewart classic "It's a Wonderful Life" will also have additional show times during the last weekend in December.

Tickets are $9 at the box office, or $11 through the theater's website at tampatheatre.org.

Each screening will include a holiday sing-along, as well as a mini tour of the historic movie palace, built in 1926.

Here's the full schedule:

"The Muppet Christmas Carol," 3 p.m. Dec. 2, (includes an interactive story time with Mrs. Claus)

"White Christmas," 3 p.m., Dec. 9

"Miracle on 34th Street," 3 p.m., Dec. 16

"It's a Wonderful Life," 7:30 p.m., Dec. 21; 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 22; 3 p.m.
