Members of the Plant City Commons Community Garden will lead a book discussion on “Gaia’s Garden” by Toby Hemenway, at 7 p.m. March 28.
The public is welcome to join in the discussion group, which will examine a chapter of the book each month for a year. The discussions will be at 7 p.m. the fourth Thursday monthly.
The book focuses on sustainable gardening through ecologically conscious methods, said Karen Elizabeth, who is a founder of the community gardening group.
The group will meet at Bruton Memorial Library, 302 W. McLendon St.
Participants must provide their own book for the free study.
The community garden was established in September on land made available by St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
