A sunny and nice start to the week is in store for the Tampa Bay area, but there are storm clouds and cooler nights coming for Tuesday.
Today will be sunny with a high near 72. Tonight will be clear, with a low around 52.
Then, on Monday it will be sunny and nice with a high of 75 with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. There is a better chance of showers that night, 70 percent. The rain might be heavy in some areas, dropping between three quarters and one inch. The low will be about 48.
Rain is likely Tuesday –and cooler –with a 40 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms starting in the early afternoon. The morning will be partly sunny, with a high near 73. That night will be cloudy with a low around 37.
The wind picks up for Wednesday and the day cools quite a bit. The day should be mostly sunny with a high near 66. But, the northwest wind will be 7 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Wednesday night the forecast low drops to around 37, and the northwest winds will blow again from 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Thursday will be sunny and cool with a high near 61. The low drops again that night to around 39.
Friday warms a bit more with mostly sunny skies, with a high near 66. The low Friday night will be in the mid-40s.
Saturday looks nice with a high near 62.
