The early morning rain will be moving south Sunday after giving the Tampa Bay area a good soaking, delivering showers and thunderstorms ahead of a cold front.
Sunday’s high temperature has already been reached, so for the rest of the day it will be breezy and the high will be 73. The temperature will really plummet in the afternoon, with a low of only 46 for Sunday night. There is still the chance for a brief sprinkle.
Highs will only be in the upper 60s for Hernando County, while Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough will see highs in the low 70s.
Sunny skies return for the work week. Monday’s high will reach only the high 60s, and a low of 46. Tuesday through Friday will see more sunny skies with a high in the mid-70s and a low in the lower 50s.
Rain might return on Saturday with a 20 percent chance of rain with a high of 81 and a low of 70.
