Bret Elliot threw for 248 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the Georgia Force in a 60-49 win over the Storm in an American Conference South Division game Saturday.
The loss snapped Tampa Bay's two-game winning streak and dropped the Storm to 4-7 this season.
Georgia (7-5) owned a 25-10 lead at the half and never trailed in running away with the win.
Quarterback Brian Zbydniewski threw for 314 yards and six touchdowns with no interceptions to lead Tampa Bay's offense. Making his first appearance since April 30, All-AFL receiver Hank Edwards led all receivers with 142 yards to go with two touchdowns, while Huey Whittaker had 12 catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns.
Tampa Bay defender Cliff Dukes finished with a sack, giving him 11.5 on the season, moving him closer to the single-season record of 15.5.
Tampa Bay returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Saturday to take on the Pittsburgh Power at the St. Pete Times Forum.
