May God help those poor souls in Oklahoma who lost everything in that devastating tornado. But questions arise out of the rubble as to why, after two or three direct hits in the past decade, there are no underground shelters in that area. With todayís technology you would think at least the schools or some public buildings would have something built underground for people to go to get out of harmís way. The military built silos near that area to protect missiles from nuclear attack; you would think that technology could be duplicated to protect people.
Everybody can play Monday morning quarterback after the fact, but it seems to me with all the federal dollars that will pour into this area, some better city planning needs to be employed.
