I’m astonished at the outrage expressed by so many people whose Christmas packages coming by UPS or FedEx were delayed.
I saw on TV a mother, practically in tears, saying, “How do you tell a little 6-year old that her present won’t be here on Christmas?” I wanted to tell her that life is full of disappointments and heartaches, so now is a good time for her daughter to begin learning that lesson. I wanted to ask her whether she has forgotten that the reason we have Christmas at all is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
I want to say thank you to all the UPS and FedEx drivers who have worked extremely hard for long hours to get packages delivered in spite of a heavy holiday overload and horrible weather in many areas of the country. God bless you.
