Sunday (May 18) is International Celebration of Art Museum Day.

Museums around the country are offering free or reduced admission on that day, including local museums, Tampa Museum of Art, The Dali and the Florida Museum of Photographic Art.

♦  Tampa Museum of Art will have special events and exhbits including: Uncommon Practice at USF and Utility and Esthetics in Ancient Art exhibits, hands-on children's activities, and live music from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

♦ Celebration of Art Day at the Florida Museum of Photographic Art falls on the last day to view the David Hilliard: Intimacies exhibit from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

♦  The Dali is celebrating the event by allowing current members to bring up to three friends to visit for free. The event will take place a day later on Monday (May 19) beginning at 10 a.m. Guests will also enjoy half-price food with proof of membership at Cafe Gala on that day.
