USF students can visit MOSI free, everyone else pays $5

Tampa's Museum of Science & Industry is welcoming back University of South Florida students with a special event and you're invited, too.

The USF Week of Welcome includes food trucks, museum admission and more.

On Friday, Aug. 29 from 6 – 10 p.m., USF students with valid I.D. will get free admission to MOSI's standard exhibit galleries.

The exhibit galleries will be open for just $5 for everyone else.

Regular admission prices are $22.95 for adults, $20.95 for seniors and $18.95 for children ages 6 - 12. Kids ages 5 and younger are always admitted free.

Outside the attraction it will be “Food Truck Madness,” with representatives from Lizzie Cakes, Top Chop, Ninja Noms, Monsta Lobsta, Lolo Ono, Cluckz Chicken, Health Freakz Café, Wicked Wiches, Mixed Breed Food Truck and others on site.

Additional fees apply for ropes course and zip-line attractions as well as “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I” in the IMAX dome.

The Museum of Science & Industry is located at 4801 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa.
