If your kids are begging to ‘nosegrind’ or ‘ollie’ or ‘kickflip’ they’re not talking about the hottest new video game. They want to go skateboarding.

Skatepark of Tampa has some deals available so they can ‘railstand’ to their heart’s content without breaking the bank.

Regular admission is $8 Mondays through Thursdays and $10 Fridays through Sundays for non-members, but also on the calendar are some deals for free skate sessions, including:

♦ Girls skate for free except for Sunday morning sessions and can have the place to themselves on the first Monday of every month from 6 p.m. to closing

♦ Everyone skates free on their birthday with valid identification

♦ Get a free skate session with all As and Bs on your most recent original report card

A digital waiver must be on file in order to use the facility.

Skatepark of Tampa is located at 4215 E. Columbus Drive, Tampa.
