Picnic in Plant Park features free fun, ice cream and more

Step back in time amd enjoy the pleasures of days past with a free old fashioned family picnic this weekend.

On Sunday, March 16 the Henry B. Plant Museum is hosting their annual family picnic on the grounds of Plant Park.

From 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. spread out a blanket and enjoy Victorian era games and free entertainment including live musical acts and Lowry Park Zoo animals.

Admission to the Henry B. Plant Museum will be reduced to just $1 per person during the event.

Pack a lunch from home or purchase hot dogs, popcorn, sodas or water will also be available for sale on site.

Blue Bell will provide complimentary ice cream while supplies last.

The Henry B. Plant Museum is located at 401 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa.
