MOSI treats military to free admission on Independence Day

The Museum of Science and Industry is showing their stripes by offering free admission for all military personnel on Independence Day.

On Friday, July 4 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., all active duty, veteran, and retired military personnel will receive free admission for themselves and up to five family members.

Areas of service include U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and NOAA Commissioned Corps.

Admission includes access to all MOSI's exhibit galleries, plus 'Disasterville,' 'The Amazing You,' 'BioWorks Butterfly Garden' and the newest exhibit '3D Printing the Future.'

Mention the military appreciation offer at the ticket window and present valid identification to redeem the offer. Acceptable forms of I.D. include: Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID card, a DD Form 1173-1 card or government-issued military ID.
