Military and families admitted free to MOSI for D-Day anniversary

The Museum of Science & Industry is honoring our country’s heroes in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

On Friday (June 6), MOSI is admitting active duty, veteran, and retired men and women of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps and up to five of their family members free of charge with valid military-issued ID.

The offer is good for admission to MOSI’s exhibit galleries, including “Disasterville,” “The Amazing You” and “BioWorks Butterfly Garden.”

The free admission offer excludes special engagement exhibitions, IMAX films, events and high ropes course and zip line. The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on that day and parking is $5.

Acceptable forms of ID include a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID card, a DD Form 1173-1 card or military ID.
