Goodwill donations earn Florida Aquarium discounts

Start cleaning out those closets now, starting Sept. 1 you can turn those unwanted items into a trip to The Florida Aquarium.

Throughout the month of September, anyone who donates clothing or household items at Goodwill Industries-Suncoast donation sites will receive a coupon good for $10 off general admission to The Florida Aquarium in Tampa. The coupon can be used on up to four full paid general admission tickets.

Don’t have anything to donate right now? Goodwill shoppers in September who round up their purchases to the nearest dollar can also get the deal.

The coupon is redeemable at the aquarium until Nov. 30.

Regular general admission tickets are $23.95 for adults, $20.95 for senior citizens ages 60 and older and $18.95 for children ages 3 - 11. Children ages 2 and under are always admitted free.

Participating Tampa Bay area Goodwill-Suncoast donation sites can be found in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, Hernando, Citrus, Sumter and Marion counties.

The Florida Aquarium is located at 701 Channelside Dr., Tampa.
